Qualtronics is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Columbus, IN
Job Description
Inspects and tests final products and incoming materials for conformance to customer and quality specifications; also prepares final products for shipping.
Compensation:$15 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Tests and inspects work in progress and finished products for conformance to product and customer specifications in accordance with company standards
- Documents all instances of rejected products in accordance with company procedures
- Inspects received goods and materials in accordance with company procedures
- Labels and packages final products in preparation for shipping in accordance with production documentation
- Assists in the maintenance of documentation in the Document Control System in accordance with company standards
- Assists in the maintenance of documentation in the Corrective Action System in accordance with company standards
- Assists with training Quality Technicians in quality assurance procedures and tasks in accordance with company standards
- Detects and reports any deviations from quality standards to management
- Validates build boards in accordance with company and manufacturing standards
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures
- Adheres to ISO requirements related to their area
- Gains additional skills as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Prior automotive industry experience preferred
- Good Oral Communication Skills
- Good Reading Skills
- Able to use English and metric measuring tape
- 20/20 vision with correction and no red/green color blindness
- Manual dexterity
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physically able to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
